Our hand creams are specially formulated for extremely dry, hardworking skin. At their core, they act as a protective barrier cream, helping to support and repair both current and future skin damage caused by sun exposure, gardening, frequent hand washing, and everyday wear.
One of the biggest challenges I personally faced when searching for a good hand cream was finding one that offered true, all-day relief, without sacrificing scent. So many off-the-shelf creams either smell like the familiar clinical “sorbolene” style, or are overloaded with artificial fragrances (the classic example being heavily perfumed department-store creams). I wanted something that worked and also felt beautiful to use.
Formulating a truly effective hand cream takes time, just like face creams do. While the two can share similar ingredients, they serve very different purposes. Face creams are usually lighter and less intensive to avoid clogging pores, and facial skin is far more delicate, often requiring highly specialised ingredients such as peptides and advanced actives.
Hand skin, on the other hand, needs strength, protection, and long-lasting nourishment.
So we’ve chosen to focus on doing a few things exceptionally well—and leave face creams to the big players.
